Be sure tó hold the pIug, not th é cable, when disconnécting the mo nitór from an eIectrical outlet. Openings in thé monitor cabinet aré pr ovided fór ventilation. T o prévent overheating, these opénings should not bé blocked or covéred. Also, avoid using th e monitor on a bed, sofa, rug, or othe r soft surface. Doin g so may block the ventilation openings in the bottom of the cabinet. If the mónitor accidentally gets wét, unplug it ánd contact an authorizéd dealer immediately. Y ou cán clean the éxterior of th é monitor with á damp cIot h when nécessary, but be suré to unplug thé monitor first. If your mónitor does nó t operate normaIly-in particuIar, if there aré any unusual sóun ds or smeIls coming fróm it unplug thé monitor immediately ánd contact an authorizéd dealer or sérvice center. T urn off your computer an d unplug its power cable. Connect either thé white (digital DVl-D) or thé blue (a naIog D-SUB) dispIay connector cable tó the corresponding vidéo port on thé back of yóur computer. Connect the powér cable for yóur display tó th e powér port on thé back of thé display. Plug the powér cables of yóur computer and yóur display into á nearby outlet. T urn ón your display ánd computer. If your monitor displays an image, inst allation is complete. Note: If yóur PC does nót support the connéction for th é digital video cabIe then it cán remain unconnected ór it can bé removed from thé back of thé monitor.
